PEDAGOGICAL CONTENT STRATEGY OF THE “AZERBAIJAN JOURNAL OF EDUCATIONAL STUDIES”: AN ANALYSIS IN THE CONTEXT OF LEADING SCHOLARS’ SCIENTIFIC HERITAGE
Abstract. The article examines the significance of the journal “Azerbaijan Journal of Educational Studies”, which has played a crucial role in the history of Azerbaijani pedagogical thought and in the development of educational and scientific-pedagogical discourse. The journal has occupied a leading position both in shaping independent pedagogical ideas and in studying Azerbaijani, Western, and Russian pedagogical heritage. Its contribution to the dissemination of pedagogical thought and the consolidation of rich intellectual traditions is particularly emphasized. A central focus of the article is the comprehensive analysis of the contributions of distinguished educators—Ahmad Seyidov, Mehdi Mehdizade, and Mardan Muradkhanov—whose scholarly and theoretical works published in the journal, innovative perspectives on education, and significant contributions to the development of national pedagogical thought are highlighted. As a periodical publication, the journal has consistently responded promptly and adequately to innovations in school life, fostering teachers’ creative and scholarly inquiry.
