THE ROLE OF THE TEACHER IN EDUCATING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS BASED ON MULTICULTURAL VALUES

Abstract. The article reflects multiculturalism, the upbringing of multicultural values in children and its role in social life. It is emphasized that the teacher has a leading role in educating students of multicultural values. The teacher himself should have multicultural characteristics, be able to draw correct conclusions from social processes and be able to make decisions and be fair. The article explains the importance of developing qualities such as tolerant, humane approach and endurance in students to different religions, cultures, peoples. It is noted that multiculturalism is a part of the state policy in the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is an integral part of the globalized world in modern times, and is also away of life of the Azerbaijani society.
