FROM THE CITY OF IRAVAN AND REGIONS OF THE ARMENIAN SSR DEPORTATION OF AZERBAIJANIS (1948-1953, 1988-1991 years)

Abstract. As the name suggests, the article talks about the deportation of the local Azerbaijani population from the city of Iravan and the regions of the Armenian SSR from 1948-1953 and from 1988-1991 by the fascist leadership of Armenia. These deportations, which took place in different years, were carried out on the basis of the decisions made by the former USSR state in the specified periods. In the article, the author examines the unfounded territorial claims of the USSR state against the Republic of Turkey and the policy implemented in the Republic of Azerbaijan after the Second World War. In this regard, in 1948-1953 and 1988-1991, despite the last resistance of the local Azerbaijani population, they were expelled from the city of Iravan and other provinces of the Armenian SSR. These deportations and the crimes committed against the people of Azerbaijan are extensively analyzed on the basis of historical facts.
