IMPLEMENTATION OF STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT IN PRESCHOOL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract. This article explores the pedagogical and organizational significance of implementing strategic management in preschool education institutions. Against the backdrop of global transformations and growing societal demands for education, strategic management is presented as a key mechanism for sustain able development and effective operation. The research outlines the stages of the management process – goal setting, environmental analysis, resource allocation, and result-oriented planning – explained on a scientific basis. Recommendations are also provided regarding the management of pedagogical staff, cooperation with parents, and the integration of innovative technologies. The study introduc es a strategic management model that combines system and process approaches and applies this model for the first time within the context of preschool institu tions in the city of Khirdalan. Components such as planning based on SWOT analysis, community collaboration, and technological innovations are synthe sized. The findings demonstrate that strategic management enhances the qual ity of administration, strengthens the teaching and learning environment, and reinforces the role of preschool institutions as social institutions. The article is of both theoretical and practical significance. The strategic management model fa cilitates goal-oriented and result-driven operations in preschool institutions. The region-specific analyses presented in the article indicate that the model can be adapted to local characteristics. The proposed approach may serve as a practical management tool for leadership and policy-making bodies in education, thereby fostering innovation, agile decision-making, and a culture of social partnership in the educational sphere.
