THE SPECIAL TRAINING OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS FOR THE FORMATION OF TOLERANCE IN CHILDREN
Abstract. The article investigates the possibilities and ways of developing tolerance, one of the universal and national issues, in young schoolchildren. Since education is not only a pedagogical issue but also a matter of critical importance from the perspective of societal development, tolerance education is one of the essential and vital qualities that young schoolchildren must acquire. The article highlights the examination of ways to foster tolerance in general educational institutions through a specially organized process. It also discusses the most favorable conditions for the development of socially significant qualities, including tolerance, which emerge precisely during the early school years, and the role and responsibility of primary school teachers in this regard. Additionally, the article presents various methods and pedagogical tools that teachers should employ to nurture and instill tolerance. Based on the analyses conducted, it is noted that both teachers and parents must consider the specific characteristics of young children when applying these methods.
