WAYS TO DEVELOP PHONEMIC PERCEPTION IN THE FORMATION OF CHILDREN’S SPEECH DURING THE PRESCHOOL PERIOD
Abstract. This article explores the methods for developing phonemic perception and sound pronunciation skills in preschool children. It analyzes the purpose and essence of the methods applied during the process of speech development and examines the ways in which these methods are implemented. Furthermore, the article investigates the characteristic approaches to fostering listening and comprehension skills in preschool-aged children, as well as the development of speech through the use of all grammatical tools of the language. The use of dida ctic games is recommended to support the development of speech and auditory habits in children. It is noted that, in small groups, children can be taught to differentiate the intensity and quality of sounds by using various toys and mu sical instruments. In preschool preparatory groups, specially designed activities aimed at enhancing speech development are organized to make these exercises more advanced. The main goal of such activities is to systematize the knowledge and skills acquired by the child in the family, nursery, or preschool institution, to develop their abilities through the learning process, and to accelerate this de velopment.
