FROM WORKING EXPERIENCE WITH CHILDREN INVOLVED IN INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

Annotation. The article analyzes the development directions of inclusive education in Azerbaijan. It is noted that for many years, children with disabilities were educated separately from healthy children and were subjected to some kind of discrimination. Since 2001, various positive approaches have been observed in this field. Based on the pilot program that was successfully implemented before and currently includes resource centers in different regions of the country, attention was paid to the for mation of the inclusive school concept that can be applied in the country. The article examines the international documents adopted on the protection of the rights of children with disabilities and inclusive education, the laws and programs adopted in the field of inclusive education in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and their important aspects. Information is also provided on the progress and achievements of children involved in inclusive education in comprehensive secondary school N202.
