PRESCHOOL EDUCATION: WORLD EXPERIENCE – HISTORICAL AND MODERN ASPECT

Annotation. The article examines the initial stages of the formation of the preschool education system, the factors affecting its development and spread to the world, as well as the methods, models, programs and approaches that play a role in the modern character of preschool education. The important aspects of the scientific-theoretical opinions, ideas, and conceptual views of pedagogues and psychologists, educational researchers, who significantly boosted the development of the field of preschool education from a theoretical and practical point of view, are discussed. The preschool education systems of Great Britain, Japan and China, the factors underlying their modern development are investigated and analyzed in historical and contemporary aspects, as well as different and similar aspects are considered, and it is concluded that the conceptual approach to preschool education is the basis for the development of this field. It is noted that the countries with the most progressive education systems today are primarily those countries that have achieved the development of the preschool education system, which is considered the basic stage of education.
