THE INQUIRY-BASED LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AND GENDER SENSITIVE APPROACH IN SCHOOLS

Abstract. The article discusses the implementation of inquiry-based learning environments and gender-sensitive approaches in schools during the organization of training with active-interactive methods, and analyzes the possibilities of their realization. The characteristic features of applying inquiry-based learning and gender-sensitive approaches during the secondary school period are examined. In the modern era, the goal of education is to develop individuals with high intellectual preparation and a well-rounded worldview. It is essential to utilize the educational and developmental functions of teaching to foster both the intellectual and personal development of students. The effectiveness of teaching has made the use of modern pedagogical approaches a necessity. The article explores how inquiry-based learning and gender-sensitive approaches, when integrated, can complement each other to improve teaching outcomes.
