DISCIPLINE EDUCATION OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN AND SOME OF ITS PROBLEMS

Abstract. The article evaluates discipline education as an essential con dition for nurturing individuals who possess modern creative activity and are capable of reflecting both national and universal values. It analyzes the main directions for achieving discipline education in contemporary pedagogy, which is based on respect for the child’s personality and de mand-oriented approaches. It is emphasized that the daily routines and regulations of an educational institution cannot be altered according to the advice, instructions, or requirements of parents who lack knowledge of the scientific foundations of the pedagogical process and of their child’s psycho-physiological characteristics. In other words, child-centered and humanistic education does not imply parental interference in the peda gogical process, as such interference may create certain psychological difficulties for children. The article also highlights several psycho-pedagogical problems and proposes specific solutions.
