FORMATION OF NORMS OF SPEECH CULTURE STUDENTS
Abstract. The study of the norms of speech culture, their popularization and application has always been in the focus of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, the great leader Heydar Aliyev. Even during the years of Soviet rule, the great leader paid attention and care to the development of speech culture. It is known that the expansion of the environment of using the native language can become a trend leading to national ideology in the society. The great leader managed to approve the native language as the state language in the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan adopted in 1978. After the Republic of Azerbaijan gained independence in 1991, the native language played a key role in the formation of the national ideology. The strategic importance of the speech is reflected in the orders signed by President Ilham Aliyev. The article mentions that not only specialists, intellectuals, schoolchildren, everyone should learn the norms of speech culture. Study, research, application and teaching-it is one of the actual scientific problems of our time. «Speech culture» tends to define and develop high communicative features of speech. A person communicating should have a number of knowledge and skills about speech, should know perfect speech patterns, correct speech rules.
