THE ROLE OF ANIMATED FILMS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN
Abstract. The article discusses the history of famous cartoons, their development path, and their positive and negative impacts on children development. It analyzes the subconscious effects of cartoons on children psychology, which are created on various topics. It is noted that cartoons can benefit children by instilling national and moral values, contributing to their education, cognitive, linguistic, and social-emotional development. However, they can also have negative effects on upbringing. Therefore, parents and adults should prevent children from watching cartoons that can negatively impact their psychology or even pose health risks (aggression, cruelty, violence, etc.). It is assumed that cartoons, as an educational tool, can form negative traits in children if they are not age-appropriate. There are also many cartoons that focus on national and moral values (friendship, kindness, patriotism, respect for parents and elders, love, etc.). Some cartoons are educational in nature and contribute to children acquisition of new knowledge and skills. The positive qualities instilled in children by cartoons created on these topics are analyzed in detail in the article.
