A NEW APPROACH TO THE SUBJECT OF SPEECH DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGY IN TEACHER TRAINING

Abstract. Speech development in children begins to form from a young age. Preschool education has a special role in the acquisition of coherent, reasoned, clean, rich speech. Teachers should be especially sensitive to the teaching process of the subject «Speech Development Methodology» when working with students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions studying «Preschool education and upbringing». If the teaching of this subject is carried out correctly, the student will not face difficulties in developing the child’s speech when he acts as a tutor-teacher in the future. Lessons should be built on the basis of the interactive teaching method, efforts should be made to apply integrated lessons, observations should be made, expressive reading should be applied, excursions and their analysis, points of preparation of various resources and their use, visual aids in the process of teaching the subject, and the use of games with different rules should be used. Students should be direct participants in all these processes. Otherwise, he will face difficulties during his career.
