PARENTAL AUTHORITY IN MODERN FAMILIES AND ITS INFLUENCE ON THE FORMATION OF THE CHILD’S PERSONALITY
Abstract. The article emphasizes the influence of the family environment and upbringing on the formation of a child’s personality, discussing parent-child relationships in ancient Turkic peoples, Islam, and modern times, and the es tablishment of parental authority through the proper construction of these rela tionships. Additionally, the article comparatively analyzes the role of parents in child-rearing and the national specificities of family upbringing in the Middle East and European countries. Furthermore, the article clarifies the evaluation of parental authority as “genuine” and “false,” demonstrating that parental personal qualities, example, and intra-family relations are of great importance in gaining this authority. The article concludes by affirming the statement, “Only children raised in a healthy family environment by parents with high moral values and spiritual qualities can take a correct position in society in the future and succeed in becoming exemplary parents themselves.”
