ISSUES OF THE INFLUENCE OF FAMILY AND KINDERGARTEN ON THE SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN
Abstract. The article explores the influence of family and preschool on the socio-emotional development of preschoolers. It notes that the foundation for this work is laid primarily in the family and is then continued in preschool based on the principle of succession. The article analyzes the impact of children emotional well-being on their social relationships, highlighting the ability of emotionally healthy children to communicate with adults and peers and build friendships. Preschoolers play with their friends, use words and sentences to express their feelings and thoughts. Although they still need adult support to share toys and materials with their friends, they improve over time. Preschoolers are also making progress in their ability to understand their friends feelings and respond appropriately. Children with healthy socio-emotional development possess a balance of all these components. The article also notes that healthy, independent-thinking preschoolers follow predictable daily routines and activities at home and in preschool, and begin to identify favorite friends. Additionally, preschoolers perform many self-care tasks such as dressing, going to the toilet, eating, or getting ready for bed.
