METHODOLOGY FOR CONDUCTING VALEOLOGY CLASSES IN PRESCHOOL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
Abstract. The study systematically examines and analyzes the methodology for organizing valeology classes in preschool educational institutions. Particular attention is paid to the importance of valeological activities in broadening preschool children’s understanding of their own bodies and health, as well as potentially life-threatening situations, and in developing skills related to personal hygiene, verbal communication, and the culture of leisure. Protecting and strengthening children’s health has always been an important issue and continues to remain highly relevant today. The study considers the preschool period as a significant stage during which the foundations of children’s physical, psychological, and social habits are established. It also examines the main responsibilities of the family and society in ensuring the proper upbringing of children, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and protecting their health during this developmental stage. The appropriateness of valeology classes as a means of providing children with relevant knowledge is also substantiated.
