USING A COACHING APPROACH IN DEVELOPING TEACHERS’ LEADERSHIP SKILLS

Abstract. The article examines the role of the coaching approach in the develop ment of teachers’ leadership skills and its importance in the field of education. Coaching is an effective approach that supports the personal and professional de velopment of teachers. The goal is to strengthen teachers’ leadership skills, help them find creative solutions to the challenges they face in the teaching process, and create a more effective learning environment. The article emphasizes that in dividual and group coaching sessions allow teachers to discover their strengths, solve problems and promote teamwork. The coaching approach also supports teachers in developing empathy, active listening and leadership skills, which al lows them to better connect with students and makes them manage the learning process more effectively. The article also shows that the application of the coa ching approach in the field of education can have a positive effect on the quality of the education system and support the professional development of teachers. The practical importance of this approach not only improves the leadership skills of teachers, but also creates conditions for promoting solidarity and exchange of experience in the educational environment. As a result, the application of a coaching approach can make an important contribution to improving the quality of education and supporting teacher development.
